The reef is located where Corposum Island used to be. Due to a volcanic eruption, the island sank below the surface of the water. Most of the island’s inhabitants perished, but a small community of about three hundred people managed to escape. They are called the followers of Andruma.
Fifty years after the eruption, members of the community returned to what was once Corposum Island and placed a statue of the Prophetess there. At the base of the statue is engraved the prophetess’ blessing: May the Lord of the Sea have mercy on you. May peace be upon you.
If you want to visit there, you can take a cruise ship from the port of Tori. The voyage takes about a month. The flotilla usually includes other attractive sites along the way, such as the Siren Cliffs in Komokur, the Cyclops Island of Ticonia, and more.
